At USU's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), our mission is to embrace a holistic approach to student development by removing psychological, emotional, and behavioral barriers to learning and success.
We work to enhance the university experience for students and promote a healthy environment on campus, preparing students to be self-reliant contributors in the world.
Our staff is committed to meeting the needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including differences of culture, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, religion, ability, and sexual orientation. We adhere to policies of equal opportunity and nondiscrimination.
How It Works
- Students attending USU's Statewide Campuses and centers are eligible for on-going CAPS services.
- All services at CAPS are free to qualified students.
- Services are confidential and are not part of your academic or university record.
- To get started, e-mail our therapists who can assist in arranging a private consultation where the most appropriate services can be discussed.
